First entry in blogg for some time...long winter..lots of snow...finally got into golf after long wait
Got few freebies for golf from my daughters at Fathers Day..don't need clothes..as seniors
wear same thing everyday. Took top off the TR-6 today so its now a convertable...Yvonne
still involved with her flower shop...Iam still her driver...slow today..Back in the Choir at
church after couple years off...now its summer so no more practices ...find with me...
lots of funerals at shop..live in a retiremnet community...all for now...

Catching up
Well here it is coming up to the end of July.Summer here is great with hardly no humiditity however it is very dry,hopefully it will rain soon.We just got our 1975 TR 6 back after getting a new clutch put in ...We really don't put a lot of miles on it but it was sitting in the garage with
no clutch since last fall...I had a black tunnel top for it that needed to be fitted properely as
we have a roll bar and it required some cutting and sewing...friend of mine has a 75 Tr 6 and had a extra clutch so we traded one for the other and saved $400..
I had a Chemical Stress Test few week back and my Doctor said it would be ok to get involved with the Cardiac Wellness program here in Leamington. I started the program today.Program is for 6 mths. twice weekly..start at 9 and home by 10:30 am...I think it will be good for me.You have a choice of weights,walking ....most walk for 20 laps around the track..they take your pulse and twice while walking and blood pressure after your cool down work out..The warm up and the cool down seems to put more on the heart then the walking ...heart rate stayed the same after 20 min of walking..

Back on track
Weather forcast for May is correct...Cold and Wet...Talked to different birders at our local coffee shop this am..and they reported that Birding in this area has been very quiet this spring.Our back yard this time of the year is filled with warblers and other birds we see coming through our area but this year very sparse..One birder said its the same for most of all Southern Ontario.
They feel the birds have changed the fly through pattern and not coming through Point Pelee
Park as in numbers as before.Our church Minister is a active birder and he said that quite a
few birds went through late April and now in May its very quiet...The leaves at the Point are
now out and its difficult to see anything..
Yvonne had another sucessful Mother's Day at her flower shop and it appears people don't hold back when it comes to spending money on mom..

Its warming up in the Sun Parlour
Well we finally have some spring weather..looks like it might get up to
65 F today..snow all gone..great feeling...I was looking at my old pictures
from being posted at Gimili,Man. during the early 50...Station at Gimili
with the Royal Canadian Air Force.working as a Gas Turbine Mechanic.
on the T-33 Jet....I hope to put couple pics in my future bloggs to see if
I can locate couple of buddies living in the Maritimes....

Waiting for spring
After spending 3 months of two different operations and confined to my home
I can hardly wait till spring arrives and my strength is back 100%..My flying
friend called this am and wanted to know if I was interested in flying around
the county for one hour...I had to turn him down as I didn't want to have any
problems (health wise) while flying around..My duddy said he would just slap
me around and not worry about it...he said I could take the plane off the
ground..if I liked ..but the last time we had a cross wind and that makes
your heart rate jump.....Anyway this is my first entry in my blogg and I hope
in the near future and will put some pics in..."Flying High on Life.....
